December 16th, 2017
12 PM - 3 PM
Fort Worth Botanic Garden
3220 mBotanic Garden Blvd
Ft. Worth, Texas 76107
We will be returning to the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens for our annual Solstice Party. We will be meeting indoors so weather won't bother us.
Metroplex Atheists will be providing meat for the meal (probably turkey and ham) and we encourage each person or family to provide generous side dishes for themselves and others. We may provide some guidance regarding which dishes each family can provide at a later date. This event is BYOB.
We will be having a "white elephant" gift exchange, one for adults and one for children. We usually say limits for the gifts are around $10.00 but you can use your own judgment.
Also, we will be having a silent auction to raise money to pay for the party. If there is something (hopefully nice) that you would like to contribute, please bring it, or as many items as you’d like to give.
We're planning an after party at the Radisson Hotel on Meacham Blvd. If you'd like to spend the night just ask for the "Billy Bob's" rate. When last we checked it was $99.00 per night.
We will be providing more details as the date gets closer but we wanted to provide the basics early so ya'll can plan ahead.
We hope to see a bunch of people there so we can have a big, fun party!
